Case study – rail services company – supply water for welfare facilities – ongoing

Our client is a rail services company that needs water supplied to outbased temporary welfare facilities and rolling stock.

Eastons also supply water for heritage steam locomotives. The trains require staged water filling along the National Rail Network as they make their journeys. British Rail removed most of the water cranes and water troughs that stood along the railway when steam gave way to diesel and electric technology. This means that steam locomotives must now get their water from mobile tankers like ours.
